Last Saturday, 20 students and teachers from EG Academy came together for a meaningful volunteer activity at Katutubo Village. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and generosity as we reached out to the community, especially the children and housemothers, to spread joy and positivity.
A Special Thanks to Chloe
This wonderful initiative was led by Chloe, our dedicated manager, whose passion and commitment brought this event to life. We deeply appreciate her efforts in organizing and inspiring everyone to take part in this meaningful activity. Thank you, Chloe, for your leadership and heart for the community!
Sharing and Giving
We prepared care packages for the housemothers, which included:
Rice
Canned tuna
Noodles
For the children, we brought:
Sandwiches and pasta
Refreshing drinks
The highlight of the day was sharing these meals together, creating a sense of connection and warmth within the community.
Fun and Games
After the meals, we organized fun games for the children, filling the air with excitement and laughter. The winners received candies as prizes, and it was heartwarming to see their joy and enthusiasm.
Building Memories
This volunteer day was more than just giving—it was about building relationships and creating lasting memories. Our students and teachers enjoyed spending time with the children, playing, laughing, and learning from each other.
At EG Academy, we believe in not only enhancing English skills but also instilling the values of compassion and service. We look forward to more opportunities to make a difference together.
