WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS CLARK? Clark is 90 kilometers away from Manila (it takes 2 hours by car). Clark was an American base before but in 1991, it became a Philippine territory. Then in 1993, it became a Freeport zone wherein many companies from different countries built their businesses in Clark and later developed into different branches.

FEATURE 1 Little California Clark is called ‘’Little California’’ due to its family-oriented facilities and environment friendly utilities such as electricity, clean water supply, family entertainment, and the like. It was also used to be an American Military Base where soldiers were kept in barracks near the hospitals. It is also complete in facilities when it comes to leisure and recreational activities that includes golf course. There are also different leisure activity areas that can be visited within Clark such as Picnic Grounds, Paradise Ranch and Philippine Museum.

FEATURE 2 Bridge between Worlds Clark is not only an entrance but is also an exit to another country because Clark International Airport has different airline carriers including the LCC (Low Cost Carriers) that can utilized reach most visited places such as HongKong, Bangkok, Singapore and Seoul. Nowadays,Clark is also used as a resort for retirees wherein they could spend their retirement at peace.

Sightseeing Spots

Mt. Pinatubo
The eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1991 stands as the second largest eruption in the 20th Century. After the eruption, it became popular for trekking and hiking to see the caldera lake where is the summit of Mt. Pinatubo.
 
Puning Hot Spring
Puning Hot Spring is a wellness facility in Pampanga which was destroyed in the explosion of the Mt. Pinatubo volcano in 1991. To get to the spa, you have to take an off load 4x4 Jeep. The spa will provide you the mudpack for your face and body massage.
 
SUBIC
Subic bay is the nearest beach from EG Academy. It takes around 1 hour by a car. There are many kinds of activity venues such as which are ZOOBIC, OCEAN ADVENTURE, BEACH and Shopping mall as well. Subic Bay is a perfect for diving and underwater excursions. A boat ride perhaps? There are even chartered yachts for rent. The area is an example of the intermingling of modern conveniences and wild nature. There are paved meandering roads that run through ancient rainforest.
