HELLO! Welcome to EG Website English page.
Today I will introduce to you some places you can visit in Manila during weekends
Our Taiwanese Manager together with student managers and some of our students (Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean) went to Manila this weekend and visited some places.
(If you have plan to visit Manila, it is advisable that you would leave early from your place to avoid heavy traffic.)
This is Venice Grand Canal Mall at McHinley Hill in Taguig City
Venice Grand Canal Mall is open to everyone. Since its opening in 2015, it has become one of the go-to hangout spots of Taguig City residents.
People get totally surprised when they visit this place with its cleanliness and layout. Tourists say it is similar to Venice Italy.
I think the most popular here is the gondola boat rides that cost 300 pesos per head with an Italian music as the background.
After that, they went to Bonifacio High Street for lunch.
there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques here that you can visit.
Luneta Park or formally known as Rizal Park, historical park where the Philippine National Hero, Jose Rizal was executed, it is a beautiful escape from the traffic and noise of Manila.
some people find it liberating and comforting to walk around the park. It feels like a hidden portal/sanctuary inside the city.
Saint Agustin Church
An old, historic baroque-style church in the Philippines will surely make you wonder how a European style of building is in a faraway Southeast Asian island.
Manila Cathedral is just walking distance from St. Agustin Church. it is open for public and and there is mass on Sunday.
Locals and Foreigners find the architecture of this place awesome.
Mall of Asia and Manila Bay
for Dinner they tried this place that serves seafood!
you can have your seafood fresh and have it cook the way you want it!
